E.D Selenium®

Vitamin E, D3 and Selenium in oral solution prevents muscular and nervous disorders

Contains per 1 liter:

.α-tocoferol acetate (Vitamin E) 20 gm.
.Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) 100,000 I.U.
.Sodium selenite (Selenium) 500 mg.
.Solvents ad. 1 liter

Vitamin E plays a crucial role in the health and well-being of various livestock animals, including poultry, calves, sheep, and pigs, as it has several important roles in:
-Antioxidant Function: Acts as a potent antioxidant, protecting cells from damage caused by free radicals, which are produced during metabolism and stress.
-Immune System Support: Helps in maintaining the integrity of the immune system, thereby improving disease resistance.
-Reproductive Health: Essential for the reproductive performance, including egg production and hatchability.
-Muscle Development: Supports muscle development and function, aiding in their growth and the overall muscular health.
-Nervous System Health: It is important for the proper functioning of the nervous system, contributing to nerve health and coordination.
E.D Selenium® contains vitamin D3 which is responsible for the regular process of the calcium-phosphorous metabolism, it plays a role in increasing the rate of Ca2+- absorption and transport from intestine to bone and so promoting calcification of bone, its deficiency symptoms are rickets in young animals and osteomalacia in adults.
E.D Selenium® also has Selenium which is essential nutrient for animals, it is a component of the enzyme glutathione peroxidase, which plays an important role in protection of cells by destroying oxidising agents like free radicals and oxidated unsaturated fatty acids.

For oral administration

-Calves, goats and sheep: 1ml per 40kg body weight for 3-5 days.

-Cattle: 1ml per 80kg body weight for 3-5 days.

-Poultry and swine: 1ml per 4litres of the drinking water for 3-5 days.

-Chicks (< 21 days): 1ml per 4litres of the drinking water for 3-5 days.

The ideal location for a storage unit is a clean, dry, frost-free area, such as a farm office or utility room, animal health products should be protected from changes in temperature, sunlight, dust, moisture, animals and insects.
